Thank you for your interest in joining Teaching Hard History Professional Learning Cohorts with Learning for Justice, a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center. Learning for Justice staff will use this application to select four cohorts, two elementary (K-5) and two secondary (6-12), to learn about the Learning for Justice (LFJ) framework on Teaching Hard History: American Slavery (THH). Cohorts will gain insight into using the framework to enrich their lessons on American enslavement, build students’ civic engagement and critical thinking skills, and deepen their mindsets around inclusion and empathy.
